Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a former independent presidential candidate, claimed on Wednesday that the performance of former President Trump in the debate could negatively affect his support among independents.

He stated that polling results next week could indicate a “drop in support” among the critical voter base.

RFK Jr claimed that Trump “got distracted, and it’s unfortunate,” during a new Fox News interview.

“I think he really had an airtight argument for his presidency, but he wasn’t able to make that case to the American public.” he added.

Trump has asserted that he emerged victorious in the debate that took place on Tuesday and has indicated that the subsequent polling data supports this assertion.

The majority of viewers, 63 percent, believed that Vice President Harris defeated Trump in a CNN instant poll conducted following the debate.

However, Kennedy raised concerns regarding the precision of those surveys.

“A lot of them probably have statistical problems,” Kennedy claimed.

However, Kennedy maintained his endorsement of the former president, regardless of his assessment of his performance.
