On Friday, former President Trump reportedly visited a Colorado city that he had previously referred to as a “war zone” in order to portray migrants entering the country as a significant threat to American communities.

His objective was to elevate immigration as a critical election issue in opposition to Vice President Harris.

In Aurora, a city of approximately 400,000 residents, Trump conducted a rally.

The former president played a significant role in the city’s rise to prominence by emphasizing the accounts of Venezuelan gang activity there, which involved the group Tren de Aragua.

“My message today is very simple. No person who has inflicted the violence and terror that Kamala Harris has inflicted on this community can ever be allowed to become president of the United States,” Trump said.

Despite the fact that state and local officials, including Aurora’s Republican mayor, have denied the narrative that the city is being overrun by migrants, Trump addressed an audience of thousands regarding the dangers he believes have been posed by the Biden administration’s far-left immigration policies.

Trump announced “Operation Aurora,” in which he pledged to use the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to target migrants in the United States illegally who are members of gangs such as Tren de Aragua and have them removed from the country.

“[Harris] has had them resettled beautifully into your community to prey upon innocent American citizens,” Trump said. “No place is it more evident than right here.” Trump said.

A viral video that showed a group of armed men at an apartment complex shortly before an individual was shot there last month propelled Aurora into the public eye.

Many on the right claimed the video was evidence a Venezuelan gang had taken over the complex.
