Tucker Carlson, former Fox News host, issued a stark warning to former President Donald Trump about the potential consequences of bombing Iran.

Following Trump’s threats to use “great force” against the country, Carlson cautioned that such military action would likely lead to a widespread war and result in thousands of American lives lost.

In a social media post, Carlson emphasized that a strike on Iranian nuclear facilities would have severe repercussions, not only costing the U.S. military bases in the Middle East but also leading to exorbitant financial costs in the tens of billions.

He referred to these estimates as not mere speculation but figures derived from the Pentagon itself. Carlson noted that the fallout from such a bombing campaign could also trigger future terrorist acts on U.S. soil, underscoring the high stakes involved.

Trump’s recent comments were sparked by allegations against Iran relating to Houthi attacks on merchant vessels in the Red Sea.

He claimed that these attacks originated from Iran, referring to the Houthis as a “sinister mob” while threatening dire consequences if they continued.

He stated, “Every shot fired by the Houthis will be looked upon as being a shot fired from the weapons and leadership of Iran, and Iran will be held responsible.”

This isn’t the first time Trump has made aggressive remarks toward Iran. Last month, he hinted at the possibility of “total obliteration” following the assassination of an Iranian military officer, and previously suggested demolishing Iran entirely.

Carlson’s warning reflects concern over the ramifications of escalating military actions, highlighting the need for caution in U.S. foreign policy and the potential risks of engaging in another conflict.
