The famous MyPillow company is now reportedly auctioning off hundreds of pieces of equipment and subleasing some manufacturing spaces as a result of what its founder and CEO, Mike Lindell, describes as “a massive, massive cancellation.”
In an interview with the Star Tribune, Lindell said that MyPillow had suffered a $100 million loss.
After Lindell continued to assert that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from former President Trump, several shops, including Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Kohl’s, removed MyPillow goods from their shelves.
The manufacturing firm situated in Minnesota appears to be selling forklifts, conveyor belts, printers, electronics, and business equipment via the website K-BID Online Auctions.
According to him, the business is subleasing part of its Shakopee, Minnesota, production facilities since the expectations for direct sales are different from those for retailers.
Dominion Voting Systems is suing Lindell for defamation in the amount of $1.3 billion, claiming that Lindell’s allegations of fraud, election manipulation, and conspiracy have damaged the company’s reputation.
After the CEO of MyPillow promised to pay that much to anyone who could refute his data purportedly indicating election fraud, Lindell was ordered in April to pay $5 million to a software developer who did so.
In May, Lindell filed a move to have the judgment thrown out because it refused to pay.
In response, Zeidman petitioned a federal court in Minnesota, requesting that Lindell pay the $5 million plus a further 10% interest per year until it is paid.
