Former President Donald Trump has reportedly issued a stern new warning regarding the recent vandalism of Tesla vehicles and dealerships, emphasizing that those responsible for such acts will face severe repercussions.

In a late-night post on Truth Social, Trump stated, “People that get caught sabotaging Teslas will stand a very good chance of going to jail for up to twenty years, and that includes the funders.” He further declared, “WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!!!”

In a subsequent post, Trump expressed his anticipation of the consequences for the vandals, describing them as “sick terrorist thugs” and suggesting they serve lengthy sentences in El Salvador, known for its harsh prison conditions.

The vandalism incidents, which include graffiti of swastikas on Cybertrucks and arson attacks on Tesla dealerships, have resulted in arson charges against three individuals connected to Molotov cocktail attacks at various Tesla facilities across Colorado, Oregon, and South Carolina.

Trump’s remarks were echoed by Attorney General Pam Bondi, who warned that anyone involved in vandalizing Teslas should be prepared for legal action, stating, “If you’re funding this, we’re going to find out who you are.”

Meanwhile, Tesla has been facing declining sales amid increasing competition in the electric vehicle market, partly attributed to Elon Musk’s political connections and his role with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Musk’s growing political profile has sparked a divisive response, impacting public perceptions of Tesla.

Despite these challenges, Trump’s administration remains supportive of Musk, with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick urging investors to buy Tesla shares.

Lutnick claimed this moment represents a unique investment opportunity, suggesting that the innovations Musk is driving will make Tesla stock highly valuable in the future.
