In a new interview, President Donald Trump reportedly revealed that former President Joe Biden was deeply frustrated after his 2024 election defeat, blaming his political downfall on former President Barack Obama and ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

According to Trump, Biden felt abandoned by the Democratic Party’s establishment, accusing these longtime power brokers of betraying him.

Trump described a tense post-election meeting at the White House, where Biden expressed anger over what he saw as backstabbing from within his own ranks.

Notably, Biden did not direct his frustration at Vice President Kamala Harris, despite her failure to secure victory in the general election.

Instead, his resentment was aimed at the Democratic leadership, particularly Obama and Pelosi, suggesting they orchestrated his political demise.

“But I asked him, you know, I went to the White House a few months before this all happened… But I went there and he asked for a meeting, and I went and we talked for a little while, and at first I couldn’t… You couldn’t… He talked so low. And then he started getting more. And I asked him, I said, ‘So who do you blame?’ Because he was very angry, you know, he was a very angry guy, actually. And he said, ‘I blame Barack.’ And I never think of him as ‘Barack.’ You know, you always hear ‘Obama.’ You say, you have to think about that for a second. And he said, ‘And I also blame Nancy Pelosi.’” Trump said during the interview.

Biden’s campaign struggled from the start, plagued by concerns over his age and cognitive ability.

These issues ultimately led to his withdrawal from the race in July 2024, after intense pressure from Democratic insiders.

Biden eventually endorsed Harris, but her campaign was unable to overcome the party’s internal fractures, leading to a decisive loss against Trump.

Behind the scenes, reports suggest that Obama and Pelosi worked to push Biden out, holding private meetings where they voiced doubts about his ability to continue.

While Obama initially supported Biden, he later distanced himself, working behind closed doors to find a replacement.

These actions reveal the extent to which Democratic elites were willing to maneuver against their own sitting president, prioritizing their political agenda over loyalty.

Biden had previously admitted feeling pressured by party leaders to step aside, but Trump’s account provides further evidence of deep divisions within the Democratic establishment.

The backroom dealings and power struggles within the party illustrate the growing disconnect between the Democratic leadership and the voters they claim to represent.
