President Donald Trump’s adviser, John Solomon, shockingly claimed Thursday night that the U.S. intelligence community has found no evidence that a foreign power changed American votes in the 2020, 2022 or 2024 elections, even as the president warned in a nationally televised address that the nation’s election system remains vulnerable to outside interference.
Solomon made the remarks during an interview with MS NOW’s Vaughn Hillyard shortly after Trump concluded his speech from the White House. The president’s address, which lasted roughly 26 minutes, focused on election security, alleged foreign efforts to influence U.S. elections and renewed calls for Congress to pass the SAVE America Act.
During the interview, Hillyard asked Solomon directly whether he acknowledged that no votes had been changed in the 2020 election.
“I all I can acknowledge is what the intelligence shows, right?” Solomon responded. “I only know the intelligence community has zero evidence that someone, that a foreign power flipped a vote in 2020, ’22 or ’24.”
Hillyard then suggested that meant the outcome of the 2020 election stood as certified by the American public.
Solomon declined to go further, saying, “I’m still researching. So let me, let me … this is the first.”
As Hillyard continued pressing the issue, stating there was no intelligence indicating the election would have shown Donald Trump as president, Solomon was escorted away by staff members before the exchange concluded.

He also, when asked if the 2020 results showing Biden won the presidential election are accurate, said, “I'm researching.” And says no intell that Venezuela tempered with US voting machines. pic.twitter.com/nllLSKgPl7

Solomon, a former journalist, currently serves as a special government employee in the Trump administration. He is also the founder of Just the News, whose reporting is frequently shared by Trump on his Truth Social account.
Earlier in the evening, Trump delivered a White House address centered on election integrity and national security. During the speech, the president argued that America’s election system continues to face vulnerabilities to foreign interference.
Trump pointed to election vulnerabilities in Venezuela while also referencing efforts by China to interfere in American elections as part of his broader discussion about election security.
The president again urged lawmakers to pass the SAVE America Act, legislation that would require individuals to provide proof of citizenship when registering to vote. According to the article, the bill would also require photo identification at polling places and restrict mail-in voting.
The speech generated immediate criticism from opponents.
According to the article, critics argued that the address contained numerous falsehoods. Some also pointed to documents released by the White House, saying the materials stated that the Russian government sought to assist Trump in his 2020 reelection campaign against Joe Biden.
The article also noted that several major television networks chose not to broadcast the president’s speech live. ABC, NBC and CNN declined to carry the address in real time.
Trump’s speech continued his focus on election security and his effort to build support for the SAVE America Act, while Solomon’s interview highlighted his statement that the intelligence community has found no evidence that a foreign power changed votes in the 2020, 2022 or 2024 elections. At the same time, Solomon said he was still reviewing the recently declassified intelligence referenced by the president before drawing broader conclusions.
