During a new episode of his podcast “Bannon’s War Room” that aired on Monday, Steve Bannon, who had previously served as an advisor to President-elect Trump, viciously attacked Mark Zuckerberg.
“Zuckerberg can’t be trusted, at all. He came in the Oval Office … when I was there. … I went absolutely bonkers, but he still got to the Oval Office.” Bannon said during his recent remarks.
“And later, he put up $450 million of his own money to steal the 2020 election. To steal the 2020 election. These guys are supplicants now, because President Trump is coming in with the American people [having] his back.” he added.
The statements made by Bannon come after he made another jab at Elon Musk, who is also a business magnate and is a colleague of Zuckerberg.
In recent years Musk has become friendly with Trump himself. Bannon described Musk as “a truly evil guy, a very bad guy” in an interview that he gave not too long ago to the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
“I will have Elon Musk run out of here by Inauguration Day. He is a truly evil guy, a very bad guy. I made it my personal thing to take this guy down.” Bannon said.
In what Zuckerberg referred to as an effort to support free speech, Meta made a series of changes to its policies regarding the filtering of content last week.
One of these changes was the elimination of its fact-checking program.
Additionally, Zuckerberg stated in a recent edition of Joe Rogan’s podcast that officials from the Biden administration would “scream” and “curse” at his employees when they did not comply with the government’s removal demands on content linked to the outbreak.
