Over the past few months, as the anti-Israel, and often antisemitic, leftwing base threatens his re-election prospects in places like Michigan, Joe Biden has begun taking more radical steps to side with Palestine in its war against Israel.

That was on full display in Raleigh, North Carolina, recently when pro-Palestine protests interrupted a speech about healthcare being delivered by the president before about 200 people.

The New York Times reported

President Biden, after being interrupted at an event in North Carolina on Tuesday by protesters angry about his approach to the war in Gaza, told the audience that the demonstrators “have a point,” adding, “We need to get a lot more care into Gaza.”

Mr. Biden’s remark, which drew cheers and applause from the crowd at a community center gymnasium in Raleigh, came after the White House and the Biden campaign had spent weeks trying to keep pro-Palestinian protesters away from the president’s events, hoping to keep the spotlight on his domestic agenda.

“What about the health care in Gaza?” one person shouted, before another yelled it again.

Mr. Biden stopped. “Everyone deserves health care,” he said.

“They have a point,” Mr. Biden said. “We need to get a lot more care into Gaza.”

Earlier in the week, the White House turned its back on the hundreds of hostages being held by Hamas by refusing to veto a resolution by the anti-Israel United Nations Security Council that called for a ceasefire without releasing the over 100 people still held by the terror group.

The move saw Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, cancel meetings with the United States.

The leftwing base that the president claims “has a point” is connected to a pro-Palestine movement that saw students at Columbia University celebrate terrorists hijacking airplanes, the activists at Vanderbilt University who recently took over their chancellor’s office, claiming that the university was “supporting genocide” by not attacking Israel, and protestors who recently disrupted a convocation at the University of Michigan.

Biden, who claims to support Israel, is in a tough spot politically because much of the Democratic Party hates the Jewish nation. During a rally shortly after the largest killing of Jews since the Holocaust, for example, “Squad” member Democratic Congressman Jamaal Bowman claimed that verified accounts of the killing of children and sexual assaults by Hamas was “propaganda.”

Another Democrat, Rashida Tlaib, has led protests against Biden in Michigan because the president has claimed to support Israel’s right to defend itself. The Michigan representative has been accused of fundraising with members of Hamas
