Target is now reportedly being criticized by Governor Kristi Noem for backing a campaign to demolish Mount Rushmore.
The South Dakota Republican spoke on “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday to address the controversy over the historical site being dubbed a symbol of White supremacy by a campaign organization that receives financing from Target’s charitable foundation.
“That store is fundamentally tearing down this country and we have to have real conversations about how serious we are about protecting our freedom.” Noem said.
“This is a very extreme organization that’s raising these dollars from nonprofits, such as Target’s, and going forward and buying land and using it to infiltrate our American way of life and our value system,” she continued.
“I’m like a lot of Americans who love to shop at Target … but we just can’t anymore.” she added.
The governor was questioned regarding Fox News Digital’s revelation that a grantee working to close and donate U.S. sovereign land like Mount Rushmore because they believe it to be a “international symbol of White supremacy” and to demilitarize the “violent” U.S. military was funded by Target via its nonprofit foundation, which was directed by the retail giant’s senior corporate treasurers.
The same grantee also favors using economic warfare strategies against the Jewish State and enacting the so-called Palestinian “Law of Return” in order to destroy Israel’s Jewish identity.
The group’s “LANDBACK” campaign demanded that America give up its public lands.
