President Donald Trump delivered a fiery and cryptic Christmas message Thursday, urging Democrats to “enjoy what may be your last Merry Christmas” as he accused political opponents and media figures of hypocrisy, corruption, and conducting a renewed witch hunt tied to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

In a lengthy holiday post, Trump wished Merry Christmas “to all,” before singling out what he described as “sleazebags” who had close ties to Epstein. Trump claimed these figures showered Epstein with money, attended his parties, and visited his private island, only to abandon him when public scrutiny intensified. According to Trump, many of those same figures later denied knowing Epstein at all and attempted to shift blame onto him.

Trump asserted that he was “actually the only one who did drop Epstein,” and did so “long before it became fashionable,” arguing that others are now trying to rewrite history. He suggested that as names emerge through what he called an ongoing “Radical Left Witch Hunt,” many of those implicated will be revealed to be Democrats, with “a lot of explaining to do.”

He compared the unfolding Epstein controversy to the Russia investigation, which he again labeled a hoax and a scam that had “nothing to do with TRUMP.” Trump pointed to past media failures, claiming the New York Times was forced to apologize for faulty election reporting and lost subscribers because of what he called “FAKE” coverage. He accused the media of repeating the same pattern now, warning that many people, “mostly innocent,” will suffer reputational harm as a result.

“But sadly, that’s the way it is in the World of Corrupt Democrat Politics,” Trump wrote before closing the message with the sharp warning: “Enjoy what may be your last Merry Christmas!”

The remarks were part of a broader series of holiday statements in which Trump lashed out at political opponents while touting what he described as major accomplishments under his leadership. In a separate Christmas Eve message, Trump again wished Americans a Merry Christmas, including what he called the “Radical Left Scum” who he said are trying and failing to destroy the country.

In that post, Trump listed policy and cultural changes he claimed had been reversed, saying the country no longer has open borders, men competing in women’s sports, blanket transgender policies, or weak law enforcement. He contrasted those claims with what he described as strong results: a record-setting stock market and 401(k) performance, the lowest crime numbers in decades, no inflation, and a 4.3 percent GDP figure that exceeded expectations.

Trump framed the contrast as proof that his political opponents are losing ground while the country is thriving. The president has increasingly used holiday messages to mix celebration with political messaging, a style that has long defined his public persona.

Earlier in the week, Trump also targeted late-night television host Stephen Colbert in a Truth Social post, calling him a “dead man walking” and urging CBS to “put him to sleep,” language that reflected Trump’s ongoing hostility toward media figures he views as partisan critics.

Taken together, Trump’s Christmas messages reinforced his combative tone heading into the new year. While wishing Americans well for the holidays, the president made clear that he sees the Epstein controversy and renewed media scrutiny not as coincidence, but as part of a larger political fight — one he believes is nearing a reckoning for his opponents.
