Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy has now announced the birth of his second child, a son named George Jack Doocy.

The baby was born on April 16, coinciding with the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary. Doocy shared the news on social media, revealing that his wife, Hillary Vaughn, endured 30 hours of labor before giving birth to their son, who weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces.

In his post, Doocy humorously thanked George for ensuring he would never forget to get a card for his wife while shopping for their son’s birthday in the future.

The couple also has a two-year-old daughter, Bridget Blake Doocy, who was born in February 2023.

Vaughn, who serves as a Capitol Hill correspondent for Fox Business, recounted that she was reporting on the Internal Revenue Service when she visited her OB-GYN for a routine appointment, only to learn that George was ready to arrive. “Maybe he was tired of hearing me talk about taxes. I don’t blame him!” she joked.

Doocy mentioned that Bridget is excited about her new role as a big sister, looking forward to celebrating George’s arrival with a “Happy Birthday” song.

Peter Doocy’s father, Steve Doocy, co-host of Fox and Friends, expressed his eagerness to spoil his new grandson, emphasizing the special bond that grandchildren share with their grandparents.

He remarked on the joy and unconditional love that these relationships foster.

The Doocy family is clearly celebrating this joyful milestone, welcoming George into a loving home filled with excitement and affection.
