During a recent address to Congress, President Donald Trump has reportedly called for the passage of a federal bill aimed at criminalizing transgender procedures for minors.
He emphasized his commitment to protecting children, stating that his administration has already taken steps to cut federal funding for schools promoting gender ideology and institutions that perform these procedures on youth.
Trump expressed his desire for Congress to enact a permanent ban on sex changes for children, asserting that no child should be subjected to what he described as “sexual mutilation.”
He conveyed a message of acceptance, affirming that every child is perfect as they are.
“I also signed an order to cut off all taxpayer funding to any institution that engages in the sexual mutilation of our youth. And now I want Congress to pass a bill permanently banning and criminalizing sex changes on children and forever ending the lie that any child is trapped in the wrong body.” Trump said.
