An individual who is suspected of breaking into the campaign office of President-elect Trump, which are located in the suburbs of Virginia, outside of Washington, D.C., has now reportedly been taken into custody in the state of California, as reported by the local authorities.

According to a statement released by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, Toby Shane Kessler, who is 39 years old, was taken into custody on Saturday by the University of California, San Francisco Police Department for squatting in a community residence hall on campus.

In August, Kessler is suspected of being the person responsible for breaking into a Trump campaign office located in Ashburn, Virginia. According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, he entered the office through the back door and remained there for a “brief” period of time before leaving.

In addition to that, the office serves as the headquarters for the Republican Committee for the 10th District of Virginia.

It was reported by the sheriff’s office that Kessler is being charged with burglary; however, law officials did not specify whether or not he stole anything from the office.

According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, Kessler has a history of criminal behavior and appears to have been in the Washington metropolitan region at least since 2018. This information was released halfway through the month of August.

His driver’s license is from the state of California, according to the sheriff’s office.
