Kevin Oyakawa, a reported staffer for Ohio Democrats like Sen. Sherrod Brown and Rep. Emilia Sykes, called for open borders and said voters in the state were racist in a shocking leaked video.

In the clip, Oyakawa demanded, “Open the f**king border, I don’t give a sh*t who the f**k comes in here,” criticizing what he sees as unjustified closed borders driven by “pure racism.”

Identified as a Regional Organizing Director for the Ohio Democratic Party, Oyakawa labeled immigration a “losing issue” for Ohio Democrats, attributing this stance to voters’ racial biases. He commented that the U.S. doesn’t need a Border Patrol, according to the video footage.

Oyakawa also seemed to critique Sykes, pointing out her silence on immigration topics. He stated, “If she has to address immigration, she starts losing,” noting the political risks involved.

Ohio.news claims to have confirmed Oyakawa’s identity through a Facebook post he purportedly made, though the post appears to be deleted or private now.

In an alleged screenshot from April 15, Oyakawa declared excitement over joining the Ohio Coordinated Campaign to support Senator Sherrod Brown, Congresswoman Emilia Sykes, and other Democratic candidates. He noted Ohio’s Senate race as one of the nation’s most competitive.

Meanwhile, conservative businessman Bernie Moreno, who is running against Brown, believes former President Trump’s popularity will influence the Senate race.

During an appearance on “Wake Up America,” Moreno praised Trump, saying, “Ohio is Trump country.”

He credited Trump with restoring American manufacturing and maintaining economic stability, asserting, “President Trump is extremely popular here.” Moreno expects Trump to win Ohio by 12 points, predicting a close margin for himself against Brown.

Polling by FiveThirtyEight.com indicates a tight contest between Moreno, 57, and Brown, 71, with Trump leading by around 8 points in presidential polls.
