Kellyanne Conway, the former advisor to former President Donald Trump, reportedly announced that she is attempting to persuade him to participate in a second presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.

She advised him to “get back in there” and not allow Tuesday’s vice presidential debate to be the final word.

Former President Trump has declared that he will not participate in a second televised debate prior to the November election.

However, Conway informed Fox News host Jesse Watters on Monday that she was not ruling out the possibility that he might consent to participate, as his response was not entirely negative.

Harris was “one for one” after Trump’s previous debate performance according to Conway. However, she dismissed it as “no big deal.”

Initially, Conway contended that Trump was currently gaining Pennsylvania, citing energy and fracking policy as a significant factor.

She then disclosed that she was attempting to coerce Trump into engaging in an additional debate.

“I asked President Trump today, we interviewed for an hour and I said to him: ‘The guy I know, you, is not going to be able to sit down after a 90-minute VP debate and let that be the last word in presidential debates. You’re going to say, when is our next one?’ And I hope he does that.” Conway said.

“He had said no, but he didn’t say totally no; that October 23rd one was seen as too late. But why not get back in there? Trump’s like, I told him, you’re like [Dodgers player] Shohei Ohtani, your pitching, your batting. You’ve done seven of them. She’s one for one – big deal.” Conway continued when asked if she really thought Trump would do another debate.
