In a tweet posted on Thursday in honor of Independence Day, former president Donald Trump took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris, Special Prosecutor Jack Smith, and President Joe Biden.
Trump, who was largely seen as the winner of last week’s first presidential debate, has been silent while Biden tries to reassure supporters and voters that he is mentally and physically capable of carrying out his reelection campaign.
After a leaked video showing the former president calling Joe Biden a “old, broken down pile of crap” went popular on social media, hours later, Trump made his Fourth of July address.
“Happy Fourth of July to all, including to our highly incapable ‘President,’ who uses Prosecutors to go after his Political Opponent, who choked like a dog during the Debate but tried to pretend it was ‘International Travel’ (only 12 days rest!) and, when that gig was up, he blamed it on a ‘cold.’ Therefore, why would anyone say he’s cognitively challenged?” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account
“Also, respects to our potentially new Democrat Challenger, Laffin’ Kamala Harris,” Trump continued “She did poorly in the Democrat Nominating process, starting out at Number Two, and ending up defeated and dropping out, even before getting to Iowa, but that doesn’t mean she’s not a ‘highly talented’ politician! Just ask her Mentor, the Great Willie Brown of San Francisco. Someone else that I have to compliment is a Deranged Biden Prosecutor named Jack Smith, who has become a Legend in his own mind for all of those cases he has lost. The Corrupt Prosecutors are working hard for Crooked Joe, but it will never be enough — MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he concluded.
Trump was rejoicing over a number of recent successes, such as triumphing the debate last week and receiving immunity from prosecution for official presidential conduct via a new Supreme Court ruling
The latter decision is expected to postpone Trump’s trial in Washington, D.C. until after the election.
In the wake of Biden’s dismal debate performance, Trump’s poll numbers have also increased.
