Lee Carter, a guest on Fox Business, stated that the debate on Tuesday evening was unlikely to result in any additional votes for Vice President Kamala Harris.

This was primarily due to her failure to provide a response to the single most critical question: what will she do differently than President Joe Biden?

Carter, of Maslansky + Partners, a communications and consulting firm, stated that Harris’s failure to address the issues that would have the greatest impact on the audience would not be advantageous to her on November 5th, despite the fact that she may have delivered a seamless performance and given the impression that she did well.

“I had focus groups live that were saying that she did a great job that night but she did not win any votes. Not one single person that I talked to that changed their mind based on that debate.” Carter remarked.

“And I found it fascinating because people said that she did a great job, they said that she was, you know, all of these things — and I was — then why aren’t you going to vote for her?” she continued.

“And here’s what they said. The undecided voter — I had nine of them in the room — said, ‘I wanted to hear what she’s going to do differently than Joe Biden. I wanted to hear what’s different about the economy. I can’t afford groceries now, I used to be able to afford groceries. What’s she going to do to bring prices down?’” Carter added.

“She didn’t answer that very simple question for them. And it doesn’t translate to votes.” she concluded.
