On Wednesday, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) castigated Vice President Kamala Harris for her response to the deadly Kabul airport assault in 2021, which he considered to be shameful and entirely inadequate.
During a campaign rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, Vance, who served as former President Donald Trump’s running companion, addressed a purported dispute at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday.
During the 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal, Trump participated in a wreath-laying ceremony to commemorate the third anniversary of the Kabul airport explosion, which resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. service members.
“Kamala Harris is so asleep at the wheel that she won’t even do an investigation into what happened and she wants to give Donald Trump because he showed up, she can go to hell!” Vance said.

“To have those 13 Americans lose their lives and not fire a single person is disgraceful. Kamala Harris is disgraceful,” Vance stated.
Vance went on to claim that the Biden administration has not made sufficient efforts to atone for the Kabul airport attack, which the Pentagon has attributed to a suicide bomber from ISIS-K.
