This week, a local television news anchor has now resigned from his position after being accused of engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl.

Bill Lunn, the news director and anchor of KTBS, resigned on Monday after being allegedly captured in an amateur predator sting by a group of men who were posing as a 15-year-old.

Lunn’s former news network, KTBS, reported that Shreveport Police initiated an investigation into the anchor last week after he claimed to have been accosted at his house in Louisiana.

The police were provided with contradictory information by three men who were conducting their own sting operation at the residence.

They accused Lunn of sending inappropriate text messages and photos to an underage teenage female, which he believed to be the case.

The amateur predator hunters informed the local news that Lunn sent them pictures and engaged in “explicit” conversation, despite their assertion that she was a 15-year-old girl.

Additionally, they asserted that Lunn was attempting to meet with the girl when he was confronted and submitted an assault report to the police.
