Chairman of the House Oversight Committee James Comer has announced that the impeachment into Joe Biden will likely lead to several criminal indictments.

The Kentucky Republican revealed his plans to conduct a public hearing this week during a Fox News interview. However, it was noted that despite providing private testimony, first son Hunter Biden has declined to participate.

Previously, Hunter had begged to provide public testimony

The Daily Wire reported that the House Oversight chairman has made it clear that Hunter Biden should show up to testify in public because he’s not going to like what other witnesses have to say.

“If he does not show up, then it’s not going to end well for the Bidens, because we have three witnesses that … have already testified under oath to significantly different stories as to what exactly the Biden influence peddling schemes were,” he told “Sunday Morning Futures” anchor Maria Bartiromo.

“This is very serious, because we’re at the point now of criminal referrals,” Comer added. After Bartiromo asked the chairman how many criminal referrals were in the making, Comer said there would be “multiple” criminal referrals, but he did not say how many or exactly who would be receiving them.

Comer said there has been “massive obstruction” from the White House and the Biden legal team. Still, congressional investigations have been “able to get probably 80% of the information that we have requested,” he said.

“We have accumulated lots of evidence of wrongdoing, from the 170 suspicious activity reports, to the multiple shell companies that were used to launder the money and then send the ten different Biden family members incremental payments, all the payments from Romania, from Kazakhstan, from Ukraine, from Russia that were sent to the Bidens during — most of which was — happened during Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president of the United States,” Comer said.

Biden and his supporters have attempted to push against the impeachment efforts, calling Comer’s investigation a “sham” that has not revealed impeachable offenses. However, evidence contradicting the president’s claims of non-involvement in his family’s business affairs has emerged, revealing meetings and communications between Biden and their associates.

Democrats have pretended that not a single piece of evidence connects Joe Biden to his family’s influence-peddling schemes, but that has changed over time. At first, Biden insisted he had no idea what his son was up to, then he said he was only talking about the weather, then it became that the money he received was from family members paying back loans.

There has yet to be a clear explanation, for example, as to why the sitting vice president was using fake email names to contact his son while he visited Ukraine. The White House has also not discussed the fact that the president’s brother tried to give the president “equity” as “the Big Guy” in one of Hunter’s schemes.

One of the expected witnesses before the Oversight Committee will be Tony Bobulinski, who has claimed that he has evidence tying Joe to Hunter’s businesses.

You can tell that his testimony will be damning by the way Democrats attacked the witness rather than what he said in a private deposition.

ABC News wrote last month that Congressman Jamie Raskin, a Democrat, “slammed Tony Bobulinski, one of House Republicans’ top witnesses in their impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, in a letter first obtained by ABC News.

Bobulinski, a one time business associate of Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden who has since become a critic of the Biden family, appeared last week before the Oversight Committee, where he reiterated claims he made during the 2020 election that Joe Biden was “an enabler” of several of his family’s overseas business schemes that “sold out to foreign actors who were seeking to gain influence and access to Joe Biden and the United States government.”

“Your client’s interview was chaotic to the point of burlesque as he repeatedly yelled, shouted, filibustered, and hurled outlandish and baseless accusations and insults against Democratic Members and staff,” Raskin wrote in the letter sent on Tuesday to Bobulinski’s attorney as well as Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer.”

The testimony is expected later in the month.
