Although much has been made about Nikki Haley’s campaign being funded by a Democratic donor connected to Jeffrey Epstein, it turns out that she’s not the only Republican running against Donald Trump to be connected to the pedophile ring via a liberal donor.
Federal filings reveal that a billionaire friend of Jeffrey Epstein made significant donations to Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
Fox News writes:
New York City-based hedge fund manager Glenn Dubin was the first name included in previously redacted court documents in a lawsuit against Epstein’s former lover and accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell. U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska had recently ordered the documents be made public and were released on Wednesday.
Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre said Dubin was the “first” individual Maxwell had sent her to for sex after she completed her massage training, according to a 2016 deposition.
“When they say massage, that means erotic, okay? That’s their term for it,” Giuffre said. “And I’m telling you that Ghislaine told me to go to Glenn Dubin and give him a massage, which means sex.”
“I know Glenn Dubin was first,” Giuffre added.
Dubin, the co-founder of Highbridge Capital Management, is heavily involved with philanthropic endeavors and has given federal candidates hundreds of thousands of dollars in political donations in recent years.
Dubin gave $100,000 earlier in the year to American Exceptionalism, a super PAC supporting the biotech entrepreneur in the GOP primary.
The Daily Mail reported that “the Dubins were close friends of Epstein. Andersson-Dubin dated him for years before marrying her husband in 1994, and the couple remained in contact with him even after he was convicted of procuring a child for prostitution in 2008.
He was godfather to their children and Epstein spent his first Thanksgiving after leaving prison with the family. Andersson-Dubin wrote to his probation officer saying she was ‘100 percent comfortable with Jeffrey Epstein around my children,’ according to Business Insider.”
The money to Ramaswamy was an atypical move for Dubin. The billionaire hedge fund manager was key in driving $50,000 in donations to Hillary Clinton’s victory fund and offered a $33,400 contribution to the Democratic National Committee in 2016. He also gave Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s Senate Majority PAC $75,000 in cash in 2016 and 2018, along with showering several other liberal candidates with cash.
