On Monday, Alina Habba, the former attorney general of President Trump, attacked New York Attorney General Letitia James, claiming she’s “just not that bright.”

Leading the current civil trial against Trump is James, who claims that for years, he and his grown sons, Eric and Donald Trump Jr., committed business fraud by manipulating the asset values of their company.

Habba stated that James doesn’t have a strong case in a Monday interview with Newsmax.

Judge Arthur Engoron, however, has already determined that fraud took place, and the purpose of the current trial is to ascertain damages.

She maintained that what the judge found to be fraud is, in reality, typical practice in the sector.

“She’s just not that bright. I’m sorry, I have to say it. I’ve seen their case; I’ve seen their lawyers. They don’t know what they’re talking about.” Habba said.

“Just because a bank who’s giving you a loan says it’s worth what the loan amount is, which is what happens when anybody takes a loan out, they’re never going to say the real value. They’re going to say what they want to say and not a penny more, or what the loan amount is and not a penny more.” she continued.

“She needs to educate herself, maybe go to some — I don’t even know how to express how ridiculous this is. It’s like being in a circus with a bunch of — I mean, what I want to say I can’t say on TV, but it’s crazy. You know, it’s just ridiculous. Anybody with a brain understands that this is just completely insane.” she added.

As he entered the stand on Monday in the trial, Trump sparred with Engoron, whom he has continuously accused of pursuing a political agenda against him.
