Ed Henry, a former top national reporter for Fox News who was terminated by the network in 2020 following a sexual misconduct claim, was reportedly charged with DUI in the middle of June, according to police reports.
According to a record published by the West Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Henry was detained by the West Palm Beach Police Department on June 20 at 8:00 p.m. for operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
According to the complaint, a sheriff’s officer saw Henry driving his black Cadillac Escalade with a flat tire on the driver’s front side and pulled him over.
According to reports, the tire came off the rim and rolled into the eastbound lanes, forcing one car to swerve to escape being struck by the tire.
The publication claims that the former Fox News correspondent acknowledged to consuming two bourbons between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. while visiting Singer Island.
The former Fox News reporter was allegedly “calm” and “quiet” after his detention and steadfastly declined to provide any information to the authorities. Henry will be acquitted of the allegations, according to Henry’s lawyer, David Tarras.
Due to allegations of sexual harassment and rape made by Fox News associate producer Jennifer Eckhart, Henry is already involved in a legal struggle.
