Illhan Omar Removed From House Foreign Affairs Committee

Controversial congresswoman Illhan Omar has now been officially removed form her position on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Omar is a Somali-American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 5th congressional district, she is also a practicing muslim.

Since taking office Omar has become a lighting rod of criticism for her far-left agenda and tendency to make provocative statements.

During the Trump administration Omar was an outspoken critic of almost all of the former President’s policies.

Omar has also faced criticism and accusations of anti-Semitism and made comments that have been criticized as anti-Semitic by many, including members of her own party for a series of controversial remarks she made about Israel.

Omar is known for her anti-israel stance and consistent support for the Palestinian cause during her time in Congress. The very position which, according to Speaker McCarthy ultimately led to her ouster from the House Intelligence Committee.
