Reporter Greg Angel shocked many observers when he reported on Twitter that he had received a deceptively edited email from the Trump Presidential campaign.
The email begins with a statement that appears to be coming from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis or someone directly associated with him, and cites how the left is attempting to turn Florida into a liberal state.
It then asks for donations to ‘Help Save Florida.’
The only problem, as Angle points out is that the email in question came from the fundraising committee Trump Save America JFC, with 99 percent of all the money being raised from the email going to help former President Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.
A fact which is only reveled if one reads the fine print at the bottom of the email.
INBOX: Ron DeSantis: Should I Run For President?
It’s a slick fundraising email – Gov’s campaign logo, photo, and all.
But – check the fine print.
It’s a fundraising email actually for Trump PAC and presidential campaign.
Always read the fine print. pic.twitter.com/nn8pR974J7
