President Donald Trump reportedly took to his Truth Social platform to criticize “Meet the Press” anchor Kristen Welker and NBC News following his recent appearance on the show.
His post highlighted his dissatisfaction with the network’s coverage of his administration, accusing them of prioritizing less significant stories over pressing national issues.
In his post, Trump expressed frustration after speaking with Welker, claiming she “wasted my administration’s time” by focusing on what’s often referred to as the “Signal Witch Hunt.”
He noted that the show’s first half-hour centered on a Signal chat group, which included Trump administration officials and Atlantic Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey Goldberg, discussing a recent attack on Houthi terrorists.

Trump lamented that Welker did not delve into critical topics such as U.S. successes against the Houthis, ongoing peace talks with Russia and Ukraine, or Iran’s activities.
Trump further criticized NBC, questioning why the network doesn’t hire more honest and credible individuals.
He attributed the network’s failures to its chairman, Brian Roberts, calling him a “pathetic Loser” who is overly intimidated by leftist influences.
He accused NBC and its sister network MSNBC of waging a prolonged campaign against him, fabricating negative stories despite his high approval ratings and accomplishments as president.
This latest outburst is consistent with Trump’s ongoing critique of mainstream media, especially outlets he believes misrepresent his administration’s achievements.
As tensions between Trump and major media platforms escalate, this incident underscores the ongoing challenges faced by journalists covering the former president and his administration’s narrative.
Trump’s insistence on focusing on his successes continues to clash with what he perceives as a media bias against him.
