During a recent Oval Office meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin, former President Donald Trump reportedly criticized the Democratic Party for their behavior during his address to Congress, where he honored victims of violence and a young boy battling cancer.

Trump expressed his dismay that Democrats did not stand or applaud when he mentioned two young women who had been murdered by illegal aliens and the young boy suffering from serious health issues.

“The Democrats have no clue. You saw that the other night during the speech. Two young women were slaughtered by illegal aliens. One young man has very serious cancer and many other problems. We look at the people up there. They all had difficulty, very serious difficulty.” Trump said.

“The whole story that evening was a disaster for the Democrats, in my opinion. And I would mention, and I’d see two mothers that were inconsolable as they stood crying, their daughters have been absolutely just destroyed. Killed, viciously killed. And the young man who loves the police departments, he had cancer, has cancer, very bad cancer. There wasn’t a, from people sitting there, Democrats, there wasn’t a hand clap. Nobody stood. They were just stone-faced.” he added.

Trump concluded: “These people are sick. There’s something wrong with them. There was no standing for anybody.”

Trump noted that the only moment of enthusiasm from the Democrats came when he mentioned the casualties in Ukraine, pointing out Senator Elizabeth Warren’s reaction.

He quipped, “Pocahontas was very happy,” alluding to her applause at that moment.

The former president warned that Democrats are disconnected from reality and need to “get their act together.”

He specifically addressed the upcoming vote on tax cuts, cautioning that if Democrats oppose these cuts, taxes would increase significantly, leading to widespread discontent.

He predicted that voters would hold the Democratic Party responsible for any adverse outcomes.

Trump’s remarks underscored his belief that the Democratic Party’s lack of empathy and understanding could have serious political repercussions, especially concerning critical issues like tax policy and public safety.
