President Donald Trump declared it a “BIG NIGHT FOR MAGA” after every Republican candidate he endorsed in Arizona’s primary elections emerged victorious Tuesday, prompting the president to celebrate what he described as a perfect record in one of the nation’s key battleground states.
Trump spent Wednesday morning highlighting the results on Truth Social, where he posted a series of graphics featuring each winning candidate alongside his own image beneath the words, “Endorsed by President Trump!”
The president also shared a graphic touting a “7-0” record in Arizona’s Republican primaries and a “100%” success rate for the candidates he backed.
Among the highest-profile victories was former NFL kicker Jay Feely, who secured the Republican nomination in Arizona’s 1st Congressional District. The suburban Phoenix-area seat is considered one of the most competitive House races in the country and is expected to play an important role in determining which party controls the House of Representatives following the November election.
Trump also celebrated the victories of several other Republican candidates across Arizona, including Rep. Eli Crane in the state’s 2nd Congressional District, Mark Lamb in the 5th District, Rep. Juan Ciscomani in the 6th District, Rep. Abe Hamadeh in the 8th District, Rep. Paul Gosar in the 9th District, and Rep. Andy Biggs, who won the Republican nomination for governor.
Following Biggs’ victory, Trump devoted a separate Truth Social post to congratulating the longtime congressman and prominent conservative.
“Congratulations to Congressman Andy Biggs, who will be a GREAT Governor,” Trump wrote.
The president continued by urging Republicans to unite behind Biggs in the general election, where he will face Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs.
“Must now defeat a Radical Left Dumocrat, one of the worst governors in the Country, Katie Hobbs, who is weak on Crime, but strong on Raising Taxes. Go Andy, Go!!! President DJT,” Trump wrote.
Biggs has long been one of Trump’s closest allies in Congress and previously served as chairman of the House Freedom Caucus. His race against Hobbs is expected to be one of the country’s most closely watched gubernatorial contests.
Feely’s primary victory also sets the stage for a highly competitive general election campaign in Arizona’s 1st Congressional District. The open House seat, located in the Phoenix suburbs, is widely viewed as one of the nation’s marquee congressional races heading into November.
Trump’s endorsement of Feely was among seven successful picks the president celebrated after Tuesday’s primary results.
Meanwhile, Rep. Juan Ciscomani advanced without opposition in the Republican primary for Arizona’s 6th Congressional District. According to the article, he will now face Democratic challenger JoAnna Mendoza in the general election.
That race is also expected to draw national attention as both parties compete for control of the House of Representatives.
After all seven of his endorsed candidates secured victories, Trump highlighted the outcome by sharing another graphic emphasizing his undefeated record in Arizona’s Republican primaries.
The president described the results as a major victory for the MAGA movement and pointed to the clean sweep as evidence of continued support for the candidates he backed in one of the country’s most politically competitive states.
With the primary contests now complete, Arizona’s Republican nominees will turn their attention to the November general election, where several of the races are expected to have significant implications for both congressional control and the governor’s office.
