O’Reilly: Trump Has “Won Over the Entire Arab World” After Israel-Hamas Peace Deal

Veteran broadcaster Bill O’Reilly reportedly said Monday that President Donald Trump’s new ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas has dramatically reshaped global alliances, claiming the president has “won over the entire Arab world” and strengthened America’s position in the Middle East.

Speaking on NewsNation’s On Balance with Leland Vittert, O’Reilly argued that the shift was historic. “Popular opinion in the Arab nations is always going to hate Israel. That has not changed,” he said. “Tonight they hate Israel, last night they hated Israel. What has changed is the view toward the United States.”

According to O’Reilly, Arab nations that were once wary of Washington have now come to see the United States as a dominant and respected power under Trump’s leadership. “In Trump’s first term, the Arabs were neutral,” O’Reilly said. “In the second term of Trump, that is totally different.”

The remarks came just hours after Trump signed a landmark ceasefire agreement in Cairo, bringing together Israeli and Palestinian negotiators along with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The deal, which aims to end years of bloodshed and hostilities, has been hailed by Trump allies as proof of his ability to achieve what previous administrations could not — tangible peace progress in one of the world’s most volatile regions.

O’Reilly drew a direct contrast between Trump’s diplomacy and the strained relationships that defined the Biden administration’s Middle East policy. “After former President Joe Biden offended and alienated Saudi Arabia during his time in the White House, Trump knew he had to get the Arabs on America’s side, which he has done in 10 months,” O’Reilly said.

He continued, “So the whole Arab street now likes America because they think that Trump is strong, and that’s what is respected in the Middle East. Trump now wins over the entire Arab world. They’re all behind the United States. Huge.”

O’Reilly argued that Trump’s success with Arab nations has far-reaching implications beyond the Middle East, particularly in the global balance of power. “Donald Trump’s power worldwide has just increased about a thousand percent,” he said. “Xi and the Chinese know that he has the Arab world and the Middle East on his side. China needs the Middle East, even though they’re temporarily buying oil from Russia, OK, and Iran. They need the Middle East. They can’t afford to alienate the Arab nations.”

The peace agreement — signed with several regional leaders present — marks a rare moment of unity among nations that have long been divided over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Trump’s allies have pointed to the deal as a continuation of the diplomatic breakthroughs achieved through the Abraham Accords during his first term, which normalized relations between Israel and multiple Arab states.

For O’Reilly, the message was clear: the Middle East respects strength, and under Trump, America is once again commanding that respect. “He’s changed the game,” O’Reilly said. “And the world knows it.”
