According to the findings of a new survey, the majority of Greenlanders are now in favor of joining the United States.

The results of a survey conducted by Patriot Polling and made public on Sunday indicate that 57.3% of respondents are in favor of Greenland becoming a part of the United States.

On the other hand, 37.4 percent of respondents were against the possibility of the acquisition, while 5.3 percent are still uncertain about the move.

The possibility of acquiring Greenland, which is a territory that is owned by Denmark, has been brought up by President-elect Trump in recent days.

According to him, the ownership of Greenland is a “absolutely necessity.”

However, despite the fact that the survey was conducted in Greenland and only interviewed 416 individuals, it is the first of its sort and indicates support for Trump’s bigger international goals.

According to the survey, this is the very first time that the organization has carried such a survey in a country other than the United States.

At the same time, it was carried out during a visit that was made by Donald Trump Jr., the son of the incoming president.

Greenland has been of strategic importance to the United States of America since at least the time of the Cold War, and President Trump has expressed his intention to acquire the country once again.

As the talk about Greenland’s acquisition continued to flow from the president-elect, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen emphasized that Greenland is not for sale.

Observers have, for the most part, dismissed the notion that the United States could feasibly buy Greenland.
