Far-left Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) has now claimed that former President Donald Trump is on the verge of instigating a civil war in the United States.

During a press conference for the Congressional Black Caucus, Waters expressed her concerns, stating, “I’m worried that Trump is on the edge of creating a civil war.” She claimed that Trump has hinted at the possibility of conflict if he does not win reelection.

Waters emphasized that this situation places a significant responsibility on Democrats to act with the principles of nonviolence taught by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

She quoted King’s teachings about organizing and protesting peacefully, underscoring the importance of maintaining a nonviolent approach despite rising frustrations.

In her remarks, Waters criticized Trump for his policies, claiming they put vulnerable populations at risk.

She claimed that many people are struggling, including those waiting for government assistance like Social Security and families in need. “When that happens, what does Trump expect? Oh, I believe he expects violence,” she asserted, suggesting that Trump is fostering an environment ripe for confrontation.

Waters’ statements reflect her longstanding history of making unhinged comments regarding Trump.

Waters concluded by reiterating her concerns about the potential for violence and the need for Democrats to uphold the teachings of nonviolence in their activism, in spite of leftists repeating engaging in major acts of political violence over the past decade.
