Eric Trump reportedly accused the Biden administration Monday of orchestrating a relentless campaign against his father, President Donald J. Trump, and even attempting to fracture his family.

Appearing on Newsmax with host Rob Schmitt, Trump launched into a broadside against what he described as years of politically motivated attacks by Democrats and the Department of Justice.

The interview came as critics seized on the Department of Justice’s recent indictment of former FBI Director James Comey, who faces charges of lying under oath before Congress in 2020.

While legal experts have dismissed the prosecution as unlikely to succeed, Trump argued it was part of a much larger pattern of weaponization of government power.

“I’m the subject of 112 subpoenas, never having done a damn thing wrong in my life, never crossing a line, being a perfect role model, being a perfect model citizen, no laptops from hell, nothing,” Eric Trump said. “And they came after me like I was a dog.”

From there, Trump turned his focus to his father’s legal battles, recounting what he called a years-long effort to destroy Donald Trump politically and personally. “They tried to impeach my father two times. You know, they went after him for a Russia hoax that did not exist that was paid for by Hillary Clinton. The FBI and the DOJ spied on my father’s campaign. They de-platformed him. They weaponized every attorney general and every district attorney around the country. They indicted him 91 times, 34 times in a bogus trial in New York City,” he said.

Trump suggested that the attacks were not only political but deeply personal, extending into the family’s private life. “They posted his mugshot. He’s the most recognizable person in the world. They posted his mugshot even though they didn’t need to. It totally backfired on him. They gagged him over and over and over! They raided his home! They raided Mar-a-Lago! They tried to get him divorced! They tried to separate our family!”

In his telling, the Biden administration and its allies have sought to dismantle the Trump Organization and destroy the livelihoods of those connected to it. “They tried to go after our employees! They attacked us. They tried to bankrupt our company. They de-platformed us! They stripped every bank account away from me and the Trump Organization that you can imagine,” Trump said.

He laid much of the blame at the feet of Attorney General Merrick Garland and President Biden personally. “And Merrick Garland was at the forefront of all of it.

And Joe Biden was at the forefront of all of it when they raided our home, when they raided Mar-a-Lago, when they raided Melania’s closet, when they raided 16-year-old Barron’s room,” Trump charged.

For conservatives, Eric Trump’s remarks underscore what they view as a systematic abuse of power — a government bent on punishing political opponents rather than pursuing justice.

To them, the charges, raids, and restrictions have become less about accountability and more about dismantling the Trump legacy by any means necessary.
