Fox News host Dagen McDowell cautioned Democrats against basing their upcoming election campaigns on the economy, stating that “everything is good” immediately.
In recent times, Democrats have ascribed record highs to the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 index, attributing this to President Joe Biden.
Furthermore, January witnessed an exponential expansion of the labor market, as the United States added over 350,000 employment.
McDowell advised Republicans to prioritize immigration, as the economy is thriving for the average voter, as evidenced by rising wages and declining unemployment.
She remarked that the Republican National Committee’s messaging concerning the economy has been wildly inaccurate.
“The Republicans should be very careful about the messaging on the economy, immigration number one issue in Iowa and New Hampshire. I argue, because the economy is receding in importance among the voters because it’s good stock market at a record high. University of Michigan gauge of consumer sentiment.” McDowell said.
