On Friday, a consensus was reached by the Supreme Court to determine whether former President Donald Trump’s involvement in insurrection during his efforts to invalidate the 2020 election renders him ineligible for the Republican primary ballot in Colorado.

On February 8, the case that has the potential to determine the outcome of the presidential election this year will be argued.

Since the primary season is about to commence, the court will likely render a decision swiftly.

Mr. Trump petitioned the Supreme Court for intervention one month after the highest court in Colorado disqualified him from the ballot.

This decision is pending the justices’ consideration of the situation.
