Harris Faulkner, a presenter on Fox News, cast doubt on the mental acuity of President Joe Biden subsequent to his assertion that Donald Trump is an insurrectionist regarding the occurrences on January 6, 2021.
When asked his opinion on Wednesday morning regarding the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to remove Trump from the 2024 ballot, the president declined to comment, stating that the matter was “up to the courts.”
However, in response to the question of whether he believed Trump to be an insurrectionist, Biden stated that the events of January 6, 2021 rendered it “absolutely self-evident.”
“He first says on the tarmac just then, “Oh, this is an open case, I can’t talk about it.” And then walks over to make sure he’s heard in front of a whole bank of microphones and calls the former presidential an insurrectionist. I mean, we ought to really, really be questioning his acuity now.” Faulkner said
“And please separate it from 81, because I know some 100 year old people who have it together far more than the president does. He’s under a lot of work stress. I get it. But he handed them yet another gift.” she continued.
Citing the Fourteenth Amendment, the Colorado Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday by a vote of 4-3 that Trump should be disqualified from standing for office on account of his actions on January 6.
