Former President Trump reportedly issued a scathing criticism of Fox News’ flagship morning talk show and one of its most prominent presenters on Wednesday evening.
Fox News, according to Trump gives too much airtime to his rivals.
“I watched Fox & Friends this morning, and it is totally unrecognizable. All they do is “gush” over job seeking candidates that are 50 Points, plus, down to your favorite President, or speak endlessly about people that will never run and, without cheating, could never win…And what ever happened to Steve? No wonder their ratings are way down. MAGA!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
He also seemed to make a reference to Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy.
Since months, Trump has criticized Fox, the most watched cable news network, for its coverage of him and claimed that the network is trying to advance the campaigns of some of his major GOP competitors.
Trump has declared he won’t attend Wednesday’s GOP primary debate after skipping the first one.
In a different Truth Social post on Tuesday, the former president also disparaged Fox host Stuart Varney, who will serve as co-moderator of the debate on Wednesday.
The former president has frequently blasted Fox for how they have reported his poll results.
He criticized Kayleigh McEnany, his former White House press secretary, earlier this year when she discussed Iowa polling that showed DeSantis “closing the gap” on the former president and who is now a host on the network.
