According to a new poll, former President Trump is leading his rivals in New Hampshire, where early voting is crucial, with an estimated 47 percent of the GOP primary vote.
According to the NMB Research poll Trump leads his closest rivals in the state by more than 30 points.
However, the former governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley, is currently tied with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in New Hampshire with 10% of the vote.
Chris Christie, a former governor of New Jersey, and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy both received 8% of the vote, while Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) received 5%. Mike Pence, a former vice president, Doug Burgum, a former representative from Texas named Will Hurd, and Asa Hutchinson, a former governor of Arkansas, all received less than 5% of the vote.
DeSantis won the second-place vote from New Hampshire GOP voters with 20 percent of the ballot, followed by Ramaswamy with 18 percent and Haley with 15 percent.
With 65 percent of respondents having a good view of the candidate, Trump outperformed his competitors in terms of favorability.
DeSantis came in second with 58 percent, and Pence came in third with 29 percent.
Between August 25 and August 31, NMB Research polled 800 potential Republican presidential primary voters.
The survey’s error margin is plus or minus 3.46 percent.
