Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida, reportedly announced his platform for economic policy on Monday in New Hampshire while campaigning there.
The “Declaration of Economic Independence,” the platform’s 10-point policy framework, is a reflection of DeSantis’s policies in Florida.
According to DeSantis’ agenda, the U.S. economy has a number of issues, including high prices brought on by wasteful government spending, slow economic development, soaring national debt, an increasingly competitive China, high taxes, and too many regulations.
Taking a tough stance against communist China, the campaign declares that “We Win. They Lose” is their economic objective.
According to the campaign, the “Declaration of Economic Independence” aims to free America from China, careless government spending, central planners, far-left ideologies like the Green New Deal, and influential woke businesses. These elites, the campaign claims, have organized America’s demise over decades.

The DeSantis campaign has struggled in polling in recent weeks and has reportedly decided to ‘reboot’ their campaign, in the process adopting a leaner, and more insurgent like approach to the campaign.
