It has been reportedly been claimed that a man discovered sensitive documents relating to President Joe Biden’s trip to Belfast, Northern Ireland, recently, lying on the ground in the middle of a street.
According to a new report from the Belfast Telegraph, the police in Northern Ireland are presently conducting an investigation into the alleged breach of security.
The individual who is said to have found the documents said that the five pages were part of a critical document regarding the deployment of police personnel in Belfast in preparation for Biden’s arrival.
The president recently embarked on a visit to the United Kingdom and Ireland, which is planned to last for a total of four days.
Before departing for the trip, President Biden stated that “keeping the peace” in Northern Ireland for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement would be his primary focus during the trip.
Biden had a meeting with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, and is now scheduled to meet with the President of Ireland, Michael Higgins, as well as the Taoiseach of Ireland, Leo Varadkar.
In addition, Biden traveled to County Louth, the region of Ireland in which his ancestors resided prior to relocating to the United States.
He was also scheduled to deliver remarks at St. Muredach’s Cathedral, the location to which his great-great-great-grandfather Edward Blewitt sold tens of thousands of bricks in the year 1827.
