Former Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is now reportedly under fire after tweeting out a controversial comment on the recent indictment of former President Trump.
The Grand Jury has acted upon the facts and the law.
No one is above the law, and everyone has the right to a trial to prove innocence.
Hopefully, the former President will peacefully respect the system, which grants him that right.

The indictment is the result of a five-year investigation that centered on an alleged hush money payment of $130,000 made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
The investigation looked into whether or not the money was improperly recorded in business records, as well as whether or not the improper recording was used to cover up or commit a second crime.
Pelosi’s comments prompted the submission of hundreds of comments, many of which pointed out the inaccuracy of her assertion regarding the judicial system in the United States:
In Nancy Pelosi’s America, President Trump is jailed and MAGA Americans are “guilty until proven innocent.”

Are you truly this ignorant? This imbecilic? This misguided? This fascistic? A "trial to prove innocence"? Are you familiar with the concept of presumption of innocence as the DEFAULT a priori position? You are a disgrace. https://t.co/yAYCIhEqCe

Uh it's "innocent until proven guilty" not opportunity to "prove innocence" https://t.co/eOfpYszKLi

Pelosi stepped down from her position as Speaker of the House and leader of the Democratic party in the House at the end of the previous congress, with Republican Kevin McCarthy succeeding her as House Speaker and Democrat Hakeem Jeffries succeeding her leader of the Democratic party in the House.
It is widely expected that Pelosi will retire after completing her final term in office.
In spite of this, Pelosi is still considered to be a major power broker within the Democratic party.
