On Friday, the president’s son Hunter Biden reportedly filed a complaint against the owner of the computer repair company who claimed that Biden had dropped off his laptop and never returned.
The proprietor of the store maintained that Biden had never returned with his laptop.
After then, data that were said to have been taken from that laptop appeared in the weeks leading up to the election in 2020, sparking a political uproar that lasted for years.
According to the records that were submitted to the Delaware District Court, Biden argues that the business owner John Paul Mac Isaac infringed his privacy and lacked the authority to copy his data in a lawsuit that he filed in that court.
Mac Isaac is the plaintiff in a case that was first brought against Hunter Biden accusing him of defamation.
He contends that Biden slandered him by accusing him of unlawfully copying the material found on the laptop.
