A liberal podcast host is reportedly making headlines after claiming she has developed a foolproof method for identifying Trump supporters — based entirely on their performance in the bedroom.
Podcast host Angie “Pumps” Sullivan made the eyebrow-raising claim during Tuesday’s episode of her show “I’ve Had It,” telling listeners that while she isn’t speaking from personal experience, none of her single friends who have dated men later revealed to support President Donald Trump have had a positive experience.
“This is anecdotal, but in my friend group that’s out there in the wild dating, with 100% returns on every person that I know that has slept with somebody in MAGA — like didn’t know they were MAGA or kinda, was on the back burner or kinda knew but was denying it — horrible in bed. Horrible,” Sullivan said. “100% returns on that.”
Co-host Jennifer Welch chimed in, pressing Sullivan for further specifics, including asking about the physical attributes of the men in question given Sullivan’s self-described preferences. Sullivan responded that one man in particular earned an unflattering nickname from her friend group, joking that the moniker was somewhat exaggerated but conveyed the general idea, and that she and her friends have taken to using a hand gesture to reference the alleged shortcoming.
Welch quipped that the supposed pattern explains why conservative men “hate” liberal women, a comment that sent Sullivan into laughter.
The exchange followed a discussion in which Welch accused conservative men of mocking Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., for her past work as a bartender before she entered Congress. Sullivan agreed with Welch’s assessment and suggested the mockery stems from insecurity tied to their alleged bedroom shortcomings.
Notably, AOC herself said last week that she would likely never date a Republican, though she attributed that stance to differences in values rather than any claims about physical performance.
Sullivan’s commentary also stands in contrast to a famous 1990 New York Post headline, “Best Sex I’ve Ever Had,” which reportedly reflected comments Trump’s then-girlfriend Marla Maples made to friends about the businessman at the time.
This isn’t the first time Welch and Sullivan’s show has ventured into provocative territory involving political figures’ personal lives. The hosts made headlines in July after Welch made crude comments about the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., shortly after his death, and again days later when Hunter Biden made comments about Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, during an appearance on the show.
The latest segment quickly circulated online, drawing both amusement and criticism from viewers questioning the show’s increasingly personal attacks on conservative men.
