Right-wing commentator Tim Pool delivered a sharp and unexpected rebuke of President Donald Trump on Wednesday, accusing the president and his administration of covering up key documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein and blasting Trump’s past dismissal of the scandal as a “hoax.”
Speaking on his podcast Timcast IRL, Pool made clear that he would not shield Trump from criticism amid renewed frustration among some MAGA-aligned influencers over lingering questions about Epstein’s associates and related investigative materials.
“I ain’t cutting Trump any slack now that we know that they’ve covered up the co-conspirator documents,” Pool said during the broadcast.
Pool claimed there exists documentation indicating that authorities were investigating Epstein’s alleged co-conspirators. He also referenced what he described as photos and videos involving minors and children, arguing that the gravity of the material demands full transparency.
“There’s a document saying that they were investigating co-conspirators of Epstein. There’s photos and videos of minors and children,” Pool said, underscoring his concern that critical information has not been fully disclosed.
Pool acknowledged past remarks from former Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino, who has argued that some materials in question amounted to “hearsay” and “fake tips that were uncorroborated.” But Pool insisted that such explanations do not resolve the broader issue.
“All of that is true, but there’s still no excuse for them not exposing these deep, dark, corrupt pedos,” he said, maintaining that officials have a responsibility to release information tied to serious allegations.
In his remarks, Pool drew a distinction between potentially embarrassing personal matters involving public figures and allegations that would rise to the level of criminal wrongdoing. He suggested that certain private scandals, even if salacious, do not necessarily warrant public exposure if they are not criminal in nature.
“I can understand Bill Gates didn’t do anything criminal. If it is true that he got an STD from Russian hookers and gave it to his wife on accident, that’s not illegal. He got divorced. I can understand why it’s embarrassing. And I can respect someone saying, please don’t release that email. It’s not material to anybody. It’s just internal drama that’s gross and embarrassing,” Pool said.
But he argued that other materials allegedly contained in the Epstein files go far beyond personal embarrassment. Returning to his criticism of Trump, Pool expressed disbelief at the president’s earlier characterization of the controversy.
“There is other stuff in there, that’s already been brought up, that I would say is shocking to the conscience that Trump called it a hoax. Shocking!” Pool said.
The comments mark a notable moment of tension between Trump and a prominent right-leaning media figure who has often aligned with conservative causes. Pool’s remarks reflect broader unease among some in the MAGA movement who continue to press for answers regarding Epstein’s network and any potential co-conspirators.
While Pool stopped short of detailing specific documents beyond what he described on air, his message was unmistakable: transparency is non-negotiable, and even political allies are not above scrutiny when it comes to allegations of serious wrongdoing.
