In a recent interview marking his 100th day in office, President Donald Trump had a heated exchange with ABC News anchor Terry Moran, expressing frustration over what he perceived as aggressive questioning.
The interview, titled “President Trump the First 100 Days: The Interview in the Oval Office,” showcased Trump’s discontent, particularly regarding questions about a wrongly-deported migrant and his controversial remarks about MS-13 tattoos.
During the discussion, Trump insisted that the migrant had MS-13 tattoos, adamantly challenging Moran to agree with him. Moran attempted to pivot to other topics but faced repeated interruptions as Trump demanded acknowledgment of his claims.
The tension escalated when Moran posed a question about Russian President Vladimir Putin, leading Trump to accuse him of asking “fake questions” and being dishonest.
At one point, Trump criticized Moran for not being “very nice” and lamented that he had chosen him for the interview despite not being familiar with his work.
TRUMP: He had MS-13 on his knuckles, tattooed!
MORAN: That was photoshopped
TRUMP: Terry, they’re giving you the big break of a lifetime. I picked you. But you’re not being very nice. pic.twitter.com/NgCpEB8o1S

The president reiterated his belief that the media spreads fake news, which undermines public trust. He also labeled ABC as “one of the worst” news organizations.
As the conversation shifted to the reputation of the United States under his presidency, Trump argued that the nation is more respected internationally now than it was before. He attributed this change to his leadership, contrasting himself with previous administrations.
Overall, the interview highlighted Trump’s contentious relationship with the media, reflecting his ongoing battle against what he describes as biased coverage.
Despite the challenges, he maintained his stance on key issues, showcasing his combative style and dedication to his narrative.
