In a recent hotmic incident, Texas Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw was overheard making a threatening remark about former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

Following an interview with GB News, Crenshaw referred to Carlson as “the worst person” and, unaware that his microphone was still on, stated that if he ever met Carlson in person, he would “f—ing kill him.”

The tension between Crenshaw and Carlson has been ongoing, primarily due to differing views on U.S. aid to Ukraine. Crenshaw has long distinguished himself within the party for his extreme, pro-war views.

In the GB News interview, Crenshaw criticized Carlson’s stance on the matter, suggesting that the pundit lacked understanding of the issue.

This public dispute has seen Carlson label Crenshaw as one of “the dumbest” Republicans, while Crenshaw has described Carlson as a “cowardly, know-nothing elitist.”

After the incident, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a known ally of Carlson, questioned Crenshaw on social media about his alleged threat.

Crenshaw denied making any such statement, responding with “Lol, no.”

In response to the situation, Carlson extended an invitation to Crenshaw for an interview, proposing a face-to-face discussion to address their differences.

This episode highlights the escalating tensions within the Republican Party, especially concerning foreign policy positions and media influence.

The exchange between Crenshaw and Carlson underscores the deepening divisions and the challenges in reconciling differing viewpoints within the party, particularly on foreign policy issues.
