Jen Psaki, a former MSNBC host and former White House Communications Director, reportedly stated that the Democratic Party is currently “in the wilderness” due to the absence of a distinct leader to provide guidance following a devastating election loss.

She observed that Vice President Harris lost the presidential election and President Biden will be vacating office in less than 65 days.

“Look, I think Democrats are in the wilderness. As you said before, there is no clear leader of the party,” Psaki stated.

Psaki observed that Democratic governors may assume the role of the party’s leader. There is speculation that California Governor Gavin Newsom may assume responsibility; however, as Psaki stated on Sunday, there is currently no definitive leader.

Democrats are now left to point fingers and attempt to determine the areas in which they failed to effectively communicate with and engage working-class voters in the aftermath of the devastating election loss.

Despite the fact that many are raising concerns about the possibility of a second term for Trump and the GOP’s control of both chambers of Congress, Psaki views it as an opportunity for Democrats.

“That, to me, is an opportunity, because people have to decide,” the former Biden press secretary concluded.
