In a new Sunday interview, former President Trump proposed the use of the National Guard or other military military on Election Day to address potential chaos caused by “the enemy from within,” a group that Trump characterized as consisting of “radical left lunatics.”

Trump dismissed President Biden’s apprehensions that Election Day would not be peaceful during his recent interview on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Trump went on to claim that “the bigger problem is the enemy from within, not even the people that have come in and destroyed our country.”

“I think the bigger problem are the people from within. We have some very bad people. We have some sick people, radical left lunatics.” Trump continued.

“And I think it should be very easily handled by, if necessary, by National Guard or, if really necessary, by the military, because they can’t let that happen,” he added.

The interview comes just weeks before the election, as both Trump and Vice President Harris’s campaigns are gearing up to make as much progress as possible in battleground states that could determine the outcome of the election.
