The full identity of the would be assassin who attempted to murder former President Trump has now been revealed.
He has been identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Pennsylvania, according to a report from the New York Post.

He was shot dead by secret service agents shortly after opening fire while Trump was addressing the crowd.
UPDATE: the FBI has now confirmed the NYPost’s previous reporting about the shooter’s name.
