A guest who objected to the notion that President Joe Biden is not entirely in control of the White House reportedly engaged in a shouting match with Fox News anchor Julie Banderas.
The suggestion was met with a rebuttal from former New York State Sen. David Carlucci (D).
“If we’re concerned about who’s calling the shots in the White House we should stand up and do something about it, because I think we should have concerns about co-president Elon Musk in the White House.” Carlucci stated.
Banderas, who substituted for Harris Faulkner on Friday, responded by disparaging her guest and advocating for Musk and President-elect Donald Trump.
“I mean, first of all, Donald Trump isn’t letting anybody take the wind out of his sails. OK? I mean, do you know the guy? He’s not going to let Elon Musk come in and make decisions, just like Biden didn’t let Kamala Harris do a darn thing.” Banderas said in response.
“Well, it looks that way, if he’s making calls to foreign leaders —” Carlucci said.
“How does it look that way? I mean, his job with DOGE is to cut down spending. Something the country desperately needs. We’re $35 trillion in debt!” Banderas responded.
“That’s great! He’s a talented, very talented person and should have a role in the U.S. Government —” Carlucci remarked.
“Wouldn’t you want a smart businessman in the office, or do you want Kamala Harris?” Banderas said.
“But if we’re talking about who’s calling the shots, then let’s call a spade a spade and make sure there is transparency.” Carlucci responded.
“President Trump isn’t even in the office yet, so I don’t even know what you mean, “calling the shots”. But, I mean, somebody certainly needs to call the shots and under Biden, we really don’t know who is calling the shots. I don’t know who pardoned all of these people or who decided to make all these decisions.” Banderas shot back.
